B) O-Level and A-Level Students Eligibility to Apply
Students who achieved at least a ‘B’ grade in four subjects during the O-Level examination for the academic year 2021/2022 and secured a ‘B’ grade in at least two subjects during the A-Level examination for the academic year 2023/2024 are eligible to apply for this admission program. It is necessary to meet other conditions as well. Interested students should submit the application form directly to the Dean of the School of Undergraduate Education at the National University via email (drughonours@gmail.com) within the specified timeframe, without using the online application process.
The application must include the student’s name, parent’s name, chosen admission subject, institution name, and registered personal mobile number. Furthermore, the admission subject chosen should be associated with the relevant institution. Moreover, the application needs to have the student’s O-Level and A-Level examination transcripts, as well as two passport-size attested photographs.
C) Foreign Students Eligibility to Apply
Students with foreign certificates can apply if a recognized educational board in Bangladesh considers their secondary and upper secondary marks equivalent. Cancellation of Application Form/Change of Defective Photo
It is necessary for the applicant to ensure that the information and photos on their initial application form are accurate by verifying them. In case of any discrepancy or defective image, the applicant should correct it. To correct the form, the applicant needs to access the Honors Login link in the Applicant Login option and provide their Roll Number and PIN information.
At this stage, if the applicant clicks the Form Cancel/Photo Change Option link and selects Click to Generate the Security Key, the system will send a One Time Password (OTP) to the personal mobile number mentioned in the application form via SMS. This OTP can be used by the applicant to cancel their application form, fill out a new application form, and upload the correct photo.
It’s crucial to mention that the initial application form can only be cancelled once by the applicant. Once the college confirms the initial application form, the applicant cannot cancel or change the form with a defective photograph.
Payment of Initial Application Fee to the Concerned College
Make sure to sign and date the initial application form in the designated space. Submit this form and the initial application fee of Tk 350/- to the relevant college in a timely manner, either by using the college’s designated mobile banking or directly. The college will confirm the initial application form online for all applicants, and confirmation will be notified through SMS.
If the college hasn’t verified the application after submitting the form and fee, it means they haven’t received an SMS. If that happens, make sure to contact the college within the designated period. The college must verify the initial application for the creation of the merit list. A merit list will not be prepared for applicants without confirmation of initial applications by the college.
Quota Information and Reserved Seats
Admission guidelines for the Graduate (Honours) Class for the academic year 2024-2025. The Graduate (Honours) class admission program allows the application of the pet quota for teachers, officers, and employees’ children. Besides the pet certificate, the applicant needs to get the pet quota certificate from the Registrar’s Office of the National University.

b) If applicants in the same subject at the same institution have the same merit rank, the merit will be determined by i) 40% and 60% of the GPA obtained in SSC and HSC examinations, including the 4th subject, respectively, and ii) total marks obtained in SSC and HSC examinations, including the 4th subject if required. If there is still a tie, the younger applicant will be prioritized.
c) A student eligible for special quotas (child/grandson/granddaughter of a freedom fighter, ethnic minority, special needs/differently-abled, or pet quota applicant) will be considered in the 1st/2nd merit list. If admitted, they won’t be placed in the quota merit list again.
d) The admission process includes phases like the 1st merit list, 2nd merit list (if there are vacant seats), special quota merit list, and 1st and 2nd release slips, all done through the merit list. No application for the 3rd release slip is allowed in this process.
e) Colleges can access the subject-wise merit list using User ID, Password, and OTP. Applicants can check the merit list results through the admission-related website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) and SMS (type nu<space>athn<space>roll no. to 16222).

Final Admission of Students Who Placed in Merit List/Quota Merit List
Login
Candidates who are on the Merit List or Quota Merit List must access the Honors Login link within the Applicant Login section of the admission website. Enter the correct Roll Number and PIN to view the final admission application form, which will display the applicant’s name, allotted subject, the concerned college’s name, and other relevant information on the website.
Application for Change of Subject
If any student on the merit list wants to change their subject, they must choose the “Yes” option in the designated box on the final admission form. Students in the merit list of the quota merit/release slip cannot change their subjects.

The subject preference of admitted students determines the publication of subject change results for vacant seats at colleges. Students will receive notifications through the admission website or SMS. Students can change their subject by obtaining and submitting the subject change form from the admission website to the respective college within the specified time. When you change the subject, your admission in the previous subject is cancelled and your admission in the new subject is confirmed. If a student’s subject remains unchanged, admission to the previous subject remains. It’s free to change the subject.
