Minimum Eligibility to Appear in the Entrance Test

03 (Three) Public Examinations with 2nd Division or 2.50 GPA/CGPA (mean of 5) and GPA/CGPA 2 in any two of SSC/Equivalent HSC/Equivalent and BA/BSS/BCom/BSC/Equivalent examinations respectively. Students with .00 (means 4) can apply. Any group pass students can apply.

Necessary Documents

2. Attested copy of BA/BSS/BCom/BSC/SSC/HSC/equivalent examination certificate and marksheet.

BOU MA/MSS Application Process

Browse by typing https://osapsnew.bou.ac.bd in the address bar of any browser. Click on School of Social Science, Humanities and Languages ​​(SSHL) under the Offered Programs section and carefully read the admission instructions (learner’s guide and View details) displayed next to the MA and MSS (Preliminary) program and click on the Apply Now button.

Fill the General Information step of the online application form properly and click on the Next button. Fill the Personal Information step properly and upload the recently taken photo (300×300pixel, JPG Format) and scanned signature (300×100pixel, JPG Format) and click Next button.

After filling the academic qualification information correctly in the Academic Information step, click on the Finish button. After filling the form correctly SMS on mobile and Temporary User ID on given email Password will be sent.

Payment Application Fee

After clicking the Proceed to Payment button, the fee must be submitted through any of the displayed Online Payment Gateways/Systems. “Payment has been completed successfully!” The message will be displayed on the screen and will be notified through SMS and email provided. Any suggestion/complaint related to online admission should be addressed by calling OSAPS helpline number (Helpline service hours 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Sunday from Thursday).

Application fee for admission to MA and MSS (Preliminary) program is Rs.500/- (Five Hundred). However, the applicable online charges will be borne by the applicant.

In Case of Complain

In this case, any problem in receiving Successful SMS, within 15 (fifteen) working days, OSAPS (Online Service & Payment System) helpline number should be reported. If required, application can be made through ICT Head, ICT Unit, ICT & E-Learning Centre, Baubi, Gazipur-1705.

No complaint will be entertained after 15 (fifteen) working days of online admission application. Temporary User ID and After clicking on the download PDF button using password, print the displayed application form and submit the attested photocopies of educational qualification along with all other certificates to the concerned regional center/sub-regional center within 7 (seven) working days of application.

The Officer-in-Charge of the Regional Center/Sub-Regional Center will complete the admission process of the concerned student by activating the nominated candidate online for admission after verifying the necessary information and original certificates.
